David Williams, an enthusiastic traveller, has ventured from Europe to Africa and then deep into Canada's wilderness for his artistic inspiration. He's had his breakfast stolen by Baboons and his tent invaded by Black Faced Vervet Monkeys. He's been threatened by a Buck, and frightened by a Mouse ("it was big though") and has had something unseen growl at him while gathering firewood. To top it all off he's accident prone.

No one knows why he puts up with all this stuff, or why he keeps injuring himself in the process, but apparently he enjoys it and has created some interesting art to boot.
